1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Horus Secure Analyst ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Authorized testing only
You may only scan websites, domains, IP addresses, or systems that you own or for which you hold explicit written authorization to perform security testing. Unauthorized testing may violate the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (US), the Computer Misuse Act (UK), the GDPR, and equivalent laws worldwide. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have permission.
3. Account & eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity performed under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to (a) use the Service to attack, disrupt, deny service to, exfiltrate data from, or harass any third party; (b) reverse-engineer, resell, or sublicense the Service without written consent; (c) circumvent rate limits or access controls; (d) upload malicious code; or (e) use the Service in violation of applicable law.
5. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Horus Secure Analyst, its operators, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (i) your use of the Service, (ii) any scan, test, or request you initiate, (iii) your violation of these Terms, or (iv) your violation of any third-party right or applicable law.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Findings may include false positives or miss real issues. You are solely responsible for acting on results.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Horus Secure Analyst shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.
8. Intellectual property
All rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, content, branding, and reports generated for you, are owned by Horus Secure Analyst or its licensors. You retain ownership of data you submit; you grant us a limited license to process it to provide the Service.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or suspected abuse. You may close your account at any time via settings.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Horus Secure Analyst is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
